With a love of music in it's many many forms I have always had the idea and plan to launch my own local radio platform. Modern tech now allows that to happen and here I am with a great Team. As well as music, the adventure will embrace local news, views and events as well as guest appearances, hopefully adding to the local social vibe. Ideas and thoughts always welcomed after all, the show is essentailly YOURS !

ABOUT
Before I returned to Wales I had built up a successful DJ and Disco circuit in Surrey. This was pretty much a fun pastime, so, returning to Wales and leaving that behind it was a natural thought to do the same based out of Bwlch. Early interest prevailed from various Golf Clubs, Pubs and Private Parties so 'back on the horse' so to speak! As I write the recent shows I did, 2023 Xmas Eve & New Years Eve parties in the Swan, Crickhowell were a real blast with a fabulous mix of 'guys n dolls' enjoying a really good time. It's so joyous to be part of helping to provide a good time for all.

With that sentiment www.rupertrobertradio.com  feeds pretty much into that same space albeit in its own unique way and environment. I'm really looking forward to launch date.

Great to have Shelley [Shels] McGuire on board as Presenter & Content Creation. Shels will be active in February when she will be presenting an evening program as the structure and music shape of www.rupertrobertradio.com develops. With a passion for 80's & 90's music Shels has previously run her own radio show - Energize Radio and we welcome her expertise across a number of aspects of ''on-line music play''.

This will be shaped by listeners as feedback dictates. Also a development of theme and style will allow for specific shows to be broadcast. Flavours sure to include Blues, Jazz, Country, Classic etc.

Will form part of a developing content process with podcasts available. There are so many stories out there and many many people who can be amazingly engaging.
